Baskets of Flowers

I have been teaching making cards by using punches. This week I decided that I would use the punches to make flowers.

The class can chose from these three cards and use a punch to make it. Instructions for the Pocket Flower Pot) will be posted on this site very soon.

Red and White - love it

Red and White: I am loving to do red and white cards. When we were teens, all three of us girls made red and white gingham skirts for the 4th of July celebration. Everytime I do a card in red and white, I remember our fun times around the 4th of July in my home town. Here are the different cards I did.

Get Well with dots

I liked the way the first red and white card came out, so I tried one as a get well card. I used my new punches, rectangular hole punch, curly punch, and my BIGZ moveable card punch. The ribbon, glitter, ink all match the red card stock because they are all the Stampin Up brand. That is soooooo nice.

My twin sister celebrated her birthday a week ago. I did not get a card sent, so decided I needed to make one. Red and white are my favorite color combinations, so here is one I did for her.

Cards Designs Color Me Silly, Basic Grey

I made my friend, Freda, this card. I liked it so well, I made a bunch more for thank you cards.
I love to take the paper and have it dictate my design. Not much stamping, but it is about the process after all.
(This paper is from "Basic Grey's Color Me Silly" line.)

Freda's Nature Silouette

I got this SU stamp set "Nature Silhouettes" for cards for our men friends. But loved it so much, I wanted to make it into a feminine card. And, of course, with all the deer around this place, it is so appropriate.

This is one I made for Freda -- who is such a dear. . .

One of a kind

This is my favorite card. It is from the stamp set "WANTED" -- a horse set, of course. Also, the greeting is from SU stamp set"One of a Kind"
I learned the faux bandanna technique from Wanda at http://www.starlightstamper.com/. I will post the inside of this card later. -- which of course are the horses.

Card Making

I have been scrapbooking for years -- now to take those skills and transfer them to cards is a joy.
I have a friend who says it is like making a small piece of ART . . .and you don't have to keep it.

Look for some fun things here and a few tips. . .
